The problem

In the clinic I work in, people need policy answers quickly. A stock internet model will still answer, and it will often be wrong, because it does not have our documents.

Retrieval helps a lot when you set it up carefully: find the right pages, put them in the prompt, and generate from that. You can do the same idea inside a public chat tool. It works. It is still public, and you may not want clinic text out there.

We wanted the model and the files on hardware we own.
